Walking in, there’s an immediate sense of design; not just visually, but emotionally. The semi private booths create this cocoon effect where the outside world fades a bit, and suddenly it’s just you, the table, and what’s about to happen next. It’s playful, a little theatrical, but grounded enough to not feel like a gimmick. Now let’s talk about that omurice… because wow. This is comfort food dressed up in its Sunday best. You’ve got this soft, almost custard-like blanket of eggs—bright, glossy, and delicately folded—resting over seasoned rice. It’s the kind of texture that makes you pause for a second before even taking a bite. And then comes the sauce. That deep, rich demi glace cascades over the top like a finishing note in a great dish—bold, savory, slightly sweet, and incredibly cohesive. It doesn’t just sit on top; it integrates. Every bite becomes this perfect harmony of creamy egg, warm rice, and that luxurious sauce wrapping it all together. It’s indulgent, but there’s restraint. And that balance is everything. What I really appreciate here is the technique. Eggs are tricky. They can go from silky to rubbery in seconds, and here they’re handled with care. You get that soft scramble consistency that feels intentional, not accidental. It’s comforting, yes, but also refined. Then you shift gears to the ramen. There’s depth in that broth. You can tell it’s been given time, attention, patience. It’s not trying to overwhelm you with salt or richness; instead, it builds flavor layer by layer. The noodles have that perfect bite, and the toppings feel curated rather than crowded. It’s a bowl that invites you to slow down, sip, and enjoy. Service flows naturally; friendly, attentive, but never intrusive. The pacing works. Dishes arrive when they should, hot and ready, without that rushed feeling you sometimes get in high traffic spots. And that’s really the story here. Kyuramen takes familiar, comforting dishes and elevates them just enough to make you see them differently. It’s not about reinventing the wheel; it’s about refining it, polishing it, and presenting it in a way that feels fresh and exciting.

i got the pork tonkotsu omurice with both sauces. Honestly, the food was great! I did find the pork tonkotsu was slightly hard to bite and that the omelette was slightly on the well-done side compared to ones I’ve had in Japan. Other than that, it’s definitely a must-try and I’m looking forward to trying the ramen next! Besides the food, the interior design was just gorgeous.

Really cool spot and menu, the food was just ok. Flavors were bland for me. Service was on point and the decor was awesome. Without those things this would not be on my radar for food alone
